KlkMaje is a podcast hosted by two college best friends from El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, centered on honest conversations about their lives, experiences, and shared cultural references. The project extends beyond audio, using branding as a way to visually reflect the friendship, humor, and individuality behind the conversations.
The Challenge
How can branding visually capture the energy and personality of two friends while remaining cohesive and recognizable? The challenge was to create an identity that feels informal and expressive without losing structure or clarity.
My Approach
I designed the podcast’s visual identity to mirror the dynamic between the two hosts. The system combines the stability and readability of a sans-serif typeface with hand-drawn, imperfect lettering, as seen in the logo treatment. This contrast allows the branding to feel both grounded and playful, visually expressing spontaneity, personality, and authenticity while maintaining a consistent presence across podcast assets.
